Domestication and cultivation of buckwheat first occured around 6000 BC in Southeast Asia soon spreading to Central Asia and Europe. Nature First Organic Buckwheat Flour has a strong amino acid profile and is nutritionally superior to other flours. It is used for baking, especially pancakes, and can be used to make pasta, noodles and as a thickener for gravies, soups and casseroles.
